We get this question a lot about our  "Did I offend you?" or "Have I made you mad?" phrasing in the campaigns.

Of course you can change your messaging to be whatever you'd like, but this has proven to get responses over and over again and in fact it's an old marketing trick that many marketers use - we didn't invent it but we've seen it work really well so we have adopted it.  

It often gets a response from people who've been completely silent prior, hence the reason it's placed at nearly the end of the automated campaign.
