I definitely recommend trying this campaign out! It's been proven highly effective. But I have one caveat... and that's that you (or someone) must be pretty fast-acting with your responses. And I don't recommend using chatbots as a replacement for that. This is a social platform and you this open-ended format offering advice doesn't lend itself to automated responses. If you want to turn people who message you into leads, you have to have a real, personalized conversation with them.
